VGF Schedule:
Friday April 10 - Friday Frolic
- 7:30-8:15 a.m. – Cake Walk and Baked Goods drop-off (LS carpool)

10 a.m. – Friday Frolic Begins
- Fun Run packet pickup, Fair Ticket pickup and purchases (Friday Frolic Lunch Tent)
- Shops on the Green (Estes Building) and Classy Cougar (West Gym) open
- The Garden Shoppe will be open (Business Office Parking Lot).
- 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Friday Frolic preordered lunch pickup. Enjoy musical performances from our Lower School students.
- 4 p.m. – Friday Frolic concludes
- 6:30-8 p.m. –8th Grade Fun Night (Lower School Lawn)
Saturday April 11 - Fair Day
- 8 a.m. – Complimentary coffee, along with Sugar Shack donuts and specialty drinks from Espresso A-Go-Go available for purchase.
- 8:30 a.m. - VGF Fun Run (Jim Hickey Track, Main Campus), Classy Cougar (West Gym) and Fair Ticket tents open.
- 9 a.m. - Games, Rides, Inflatables, Dunk Tank, VGF Train, Teeny Tiny Farm, Shops on the Green (Estes), Closest to the Pin Challenge (Grover Jones Field), The Garden Shoppe, Concessions, and Ropes Course Open.
- 10 a.m. – Dodgeball tournament (Jacobs Gym)
- 11 a.m. – Collegiate's Got Talent: Lip Sync Battle (3rd/4th Grade playground turf)
- 11 a.m.–2 p.m. – Lunch Tent (Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets, classic and GF Pizza, Jimmy John's, and MORE!)
- 2 p.m. – VGF Closest to the Pin Winners announced and trophies awarded (Grover Jones Field)
- 3 p.m. – Village Green Fair concludes

The Village Green Fair is the Parent's Association's largest community building and fundraising event. It is a two-day event packed with excitement and fun for all members of the Collegiate Community. To maximize your enjoyment, please consider these FAQs:
1. Where is the Village Green Fair, and Who Can Attend?
The Village Green Fair is located on the Lower School Field and surrounding areas, including Estes Gym, West Gym, Jacobs Gym, the Jim Hickey Track and the Ropes Course. There is a lot of ground to cover and many activities to enjoy, so plan to make a day of it! While VGF primarily appeals to our Lower School and Middle School students, we welcome all members of our Collegiate community and their guests and especially encourage Middle and Upper School students and their parents to volunteer at VGF to make it an excellent experience for our younger Cougars!
2. What Types of Payment are Accepted at VGF?
Different forms of payment are accepted for different VGF products and event registrations. Please view this table for specific payment information. Please note that the Parents' Association does not issue refunds or returns.
Village Green Fair Payment Information
The Village Green Fair is the Parents’ Association’s largest fundraiser. Different types of payments are accepted depending on the timing, location, and item(s) being purchased. The PA does not issue refunds or accept returns. Questions? Contact our VGF chairs.

3. What is Friday Frolic?
Friday Frolic is held on the Friday before Fair Day (Saturday) and is designed for the adults in our community. We encourage all parents, guardians, grandparents and our community friends to pre-order a boxed lunch to enjoy under the Big Tent on the Lower School campus.
The Classy Cougar, Shops on the Green and the Garden Shoppe are open during Friday Frolic for your shopping enjoyment!
You can also pick up pre-ordered Fair Ticket Cards, Fun Run Packets and Garden Shoppe plants during Friday Frolic.
4. What is the Classy Cougar?
The Classy Cougar is VGF's consignment sale, which features a wonderful array of toys, books, sports equipment, household items and clothing like Collegiate spirit wear, cotillion and special occasion clothing, and much more!
It is located in West Gym and is open during Friday Frolic and on the day of the Fair (Saturday).
5. What is 8th Grade Fun Night?
8th Grade Fun Night is held the evening before VGF (Friday) on the Lower School field and is a special opportunity for the 8th Grade Class to experience some parts of the Fair before everyone else!
Come for the food and games, stay for the prizes and dancing!
6. What are the Shops on the Green and The Garden Shoppe?
The Shops on the Green and The Garden Shoppe are two opportunities for the adults in our community to have fun at VGF!
Shops on the Green features various local vendors selling their products. It is located in Estes Gym and is open on Friday and Saturday of VGF.
The Garden Shoppe is located on the Lower School field and is the pick-up location for beautiful pre-ordered plants. The Garden Shoppe also offers some day-of sales on Friday and Saturday. Shop early for the best selection!
7. Is VGF Rain or Shine?
VGF happens rain or shine! In the event of poor weather, our carefully formulated Rain Plan will be enacted, and the Fair will be held! The Rain Plan will be communicated to the community ahead of the Fair.
8. What is NOT allowed at VGF?
Solicitors are not allowed on the Collegiate campus at any time, including during VGF. All other Collegiate School rules apply at VGF.
Children should not be left unattended at VGF, and parents are asked to ensure that their children follow school rules and respect our vendors and volunteers.
9. VGF sounds like a lot of work! How can I help?

10. Where can I find more information about VGF?
Each Collegiate family will receive a Village Green Fair Packet in the mail and via email in early March.
